This is GACs flying field, a view looking north over the Thames Estuary. The runway is towards the upper right of the picture, and we usually find that the wind blows right to left (an easterly). Many pilots get caught unaware landing left to right... just a hop over the trees!

This view was taken from the car park, the entrance being below the left of the picture, adjacent to the "hut".
